Converts HDMI (digital signal) to VGA (analog signal). This adapter only works one way – HDMI to VGA – not the other way around. It means not converting from Vga to HDMI.
1920×1080 @ 60Hz (max.). VGA signal only supports video and not audio signal. This adapter offers a 3.5 mm audio jack, allowing this adapter to be connected to the television or external speakers using a 3.5 mm jack audio cable (sold separately).
When the source devices could not offer enough power, then you could connect a micro USB cable for additional power. When connecting to MacBook Pro with Retina Display, Smart TV Box, Raspberry Pi, PS4, and other high-power devices, connect the micro USB cable to ensure stable transmission.
Note:
This adapter is not bi-directional and will just support signal from HDMI source devices to VGA displays.
